Communication Issues
The reviewer criticized the attorney's communication skills, stating that she was unclear in her explanations and made the reviewer feel like they were not understanding basic concepts. The attorney also failed to prepare the reviewer for court hearings, leaving them unprepared and anxious throughout the process.
Unreliability and Disorganization
The reviewer mentioned that the attorney was often late to meetings and hearings, including one instance where she was over 30 minutes late due to "forgetting". The attorney also failed to manage the reviewer's case effectively, leaving them with a huge workload and uncertainty about how to organize and file evidence.
Lack of Empathy and Favoritism
The reviewer felt that the attorney was not on their side, even going so far as to suggest that the attorney might be more interested in their ex-husband's case. The attorney's behavior further exacerbated the reviewer's anxiety and frustration.
Conclusion
The reviewer concluded that they received poor service from the attorney and consider it a waste of money that prolonged the process for them and their children.
