Gretchen Hollar Kirkman brings nearly two decades of legal experience to the Law Office of Gretchen Hollar Kirkman. A lifelong resident of Surry County, North Carolina, she is dedicated to serving the legal needs of her community. Her legal journey began in New York and New Jersey after graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law. After successfully practicing law in these states, she returned to her roots in 2001 and passed the North Carolina Bar Exam, solidifying her commitment to serving her local community.

Following stints at two prominent local law firms, Gretchen established the Law Office of Gretchen Hollar Kirkman in 2004, providing personalized legal counsel to a wide range of clients. Her extensive legal background encompasses estate law, elder law, contracts, criminal law, traffic law, custody cases, divorce proceedings, DSS court matters, juvenile court cases, and separation agreements. In 2018, Gretchen further demonstrated her legal expertise by serving as a District Court Judge for Surry and Stokes Counties.

Gretchen's dedication to her profession is matched only by her dedication to her family. She and her husband, Treva, have two daughters, Lily Hayes Kirkman and Elizabeth Rose Kirkman.
