Our Background

Jody Mitchell, our lead attorney, grew up on a dairy farm in Dobson, NC, where he learned the values of hard work and determination. He earned his law degree from the Appalachian School of Law in 2004 and has been practicing law ever since. Renae Alderman Mitchell, also an attorney, was born and raised in Galax, Virginia. She graduated from Radford University with honors and later attended Appalachian School of Law, where she met her husband. Renae's extensive experience in family law, divorce, guardianships, adoptions, and bankruptcy law makes her a valuable asset to our firm.
