Our firm was created after its founder spent thirteen years handling lemon law cases on the defense side, representing a variety of automobile, trucking, and motorcycle companies. After many years and thousands of cases, Lemon Law Aid's founder saw the need for a consumer protection firm that placed the interests of consumers first and knew how to resolve cases quickly and efficiently. What is California's Lemon Law?
California's Lemon Law protects consumers by requiring manufacturers to repurchase or replace vehicles/consumer goods with warranty defects that couldn't be fixed after reasonable attempts. This includes cars, motorcycles, RVs, boats, and electronics.
How do I know if my vehicle qualifies?
Your vehicle qualifies if it has substantial defects requiring multiple warranty repairs (typically 2-4 attempts). The law covers new/used vehicles under warranty, including leased vehicles and some business vehicles.
What if the manufacturer won't fix my vehicle?
If the manufacturer/dealer can't fix defects after reasonable attempts, they must either replace the vehicle or refund purchase price. Our attorneys will help prove your case meets 'reasonable attempts' criteria.
How much does it cost to hire Lemon Law Aid?
There are no upfront costs. California's fee-shifting provision requires manufacturers to pay consumer attorneys' fees if we win, so you get expert representation with no financial risk.

The buyback amount equals your down payment, all monthly payments, and recent registration fees. This is reduced by a mileage offset calculated as (miles at first repair ÷ 120,000) × purchase price.
