History of Our Practice

Our practice was first established in Lewiston, Maine, in 1980 by our founder, Robert B. Gregory, who began his career with the law firm Brann & Isaacson. In 1984, he moved to Damariscotta and joined Arthur E. Nissen in an "of counsel" capacity. Arthur E. Nissen retired from the practice of law in 1990, and Robert Gregory has managed the practice ever since.

Our office has been providing continuous legal services to the Damariscotta region for over 50 years, making us one of the most experienced and reliable law firms in the area. We have built a strong reputation for our commitment to excellence, professionalism, and dedication to our clients' needs.

Meet Our Staff

At the Law Office of Robert B. Gregory, we have a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Our founder, Robert B. Gregory, is a seasoned attorney with over 40 years of experience in practicing law. He is admitted to practice before the Maine Supreme Court, the Maine District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit. He obtained his BA from Colby College Summa Cum Laude in 1976 and his JD from the University of Maine in 1980.

In addition to our founder, our team also includes Julie Crider, who serves as our legal assistant and office manager. Julie is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of our practice areas and is dedicated to providing excellent support to our clients and attorneys.

Pamela Wallace, our real estate/legal assistant, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in real estate transactions and title services. She is an integral part of our team and works closely with our attorneys and clients to ensure smooth and successful transactions.

Rose M. Prior, our estates administrator and bookkeeper, is responsible for managing our clients' estates and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and managed. With her attention to detail and organizational skills, Rose plays a crucial role in our practice.
