Our Team

C.J. Johnson, a second-generation trial lawyer, leads our firm with his extensive experience handling a diverse range of cases. C.J. received a degree in history from the University of Colorado and graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1999. He clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Richard F. Practice Areas

At Johnson & Johnson Law, PLLC, we specialize in handling and litigating cases and claims in various areas, including:

  • Real Estate Defect & Disclosure Issues: Our attorneys have extensive experience in litigating real estate defect and disclosure issues, ensuring that clients receive accurate information and fair treatment in real estate transactions.
  • Real Estate Malpractice - Agents & Brokers: We hold real estate agents and brokers accountable for their actions through the Montana Real Estate Licensing Act, which mandates disclosure of adverse material facts, best interests of the client, obedience to lawful client instructions, and exercise of reasonable care, skill, and diligence in pursuing the client's goals.

  • Construction & Design Defects: Our attorneys handle construction defect cases, ensuring clients receive fair treatment in cases involving shoddy or defective workmanship, design issues, and non-compliance with building codes.
  • First- and Third-Party Insurance Bad Faith: We represent clients in disputes with insurance companies, ensuring they receive fair treatment and just compensation in cases of bad faith claims handling, denial of coverage, or unreasonable delays.
  • Insurance Coverage & Claims: Our attorneys assist clients with navigating the complexities of insurance coverage and claim disputes, offering advocacy and guidance throughout the process.
  • Catastrophic Injury & Medical Malpractice: We represent clients who have suffered severe injuries as a result of medical malpractice, automobile accidents, or other forms of negligence.
  • Consumer Protection: Our attorneys ensure that clients receive protection under the Montana Consumer Protection Act, which provides remedies for actual and treble damages, as well as attorney's fees, in cases of consumer fraud and deceptive trade practices.
  • Civil Rights - Sexual Harassment, Disability Discrimination, Age Discrimination, Etc.: We stand up for clients facing civil rights violations, ensuring they receive justice and fair treatment in all aspects of their lives.
  • Wrongful Discharge: Our attorneys fiercely advocate for clients facing wrongful termination or other employment disputes, ensuring they receive fair treatment and just compensation under the law.
