Criminal Prosecution: Our office is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal cases in Jefferson Parish. We work closely with law enforcement agencies to review cases and determine whether charges are warranted.
Economic Crimes: Our office has a specialized unit dedicated to the prosecution of economic crimes, including fraud, embezzlement, and other financial crimes.
Family Violence Investigations: We have a specialized unit dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of family violence cases, including domestic violence and child abuse.
Juvenile Parish Court: Our office is responsible for the prosecution of juvenile cases in Jefferson Parish, working closely with the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court and other agencies to provide a comprehensive approach to juvenile justice.

DA Office Criticisms
The District Attorney's office is criticized by several reviewers for their alleged inability to effectively prosecute criminals and protect the public.
