Our Services
As the Pulaski County Attorney, Martin L. Hatfield, is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Prosecution of Criminal and Juvenile Matters
Our office is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal and juvenile matters in District Court, including felony and misdemeanor offenses. We work closely with the Commonwealth Attorney's Office to handle felony offenses at the preliminary stage and through a Rocket Docket Program, which expedites the criminal justice process.
Child Support Enforcement
Our office is responsible for collecting and enforcing child support payments for Pulaski County. We work closely with the Commonwealth of Kentucky to ensure that parents fulfill their financial obligations to their children.
Cold Check Enforcement
We also enforce the collection of delinquent property taxes for Pulaski County. Our office works closely with the Pulaski County Fiscal Court to ensure that all tax payments are collected and up-to-date.
Victim Advocacy
Our Victim Advocacy Program provides vital support to crime victims, ensuring that they have a voice in the criminal justice process. We work closely with local law enforcement and government agencies to provide emotional support and assistance to those affected by crime.
Diversion Programs
We offer various diversion programs for traffic and other offenses, allowing citizens to participate in educational programs in exchange for a favorable resolution of their case upon successful completion.
Juvenile Court Guardianship
Our office is responsible for representing the Commonwealth of Kentucky in juvenile court cases involving guardianship, abuse and neglect, and dependency.
Casey's Law
Our office works closely with law enforcement and government agencies to enforce Casey's Law, which helps to combat the drug epidemic and reduce drug-related crime.

Our office also handles cases involving juveniles, including status offenses and dependency cases. We work closely with the Commonwealth of Kentucky to ensure that all cases are handled fairly and compassionately.
Mental Health and Guardianship
Our office represents the Commonwealth of Kentucky in mental health and guardianship cases in District Court, ensuring that individuals receive the support and care they need.
County Attorney Services
As the Pulaski County Attorney, Martin L. Hatfield serves as a legal advisor to the Pulaski County Fiscal Court and drafts county ordinances. He also advises the County Judge Executive on all legal matters related to county business.
