Stuart brings over 40 years of experience as a top Utica litigator, having graduated from Syracuse University and the Brooklyn Law School. Poor Representation and Lack of Communication
Several reviewers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the law firm Finer & Fanelli. One reviewer, Billie Schadt, gave the firm a 1-star rating and described their experience as "terrible." Schadt hired the firm to represent them in a personal injury case, but they felt that the firm's lawyer was rude, incompetent, and failed to communicate with them in a timely manner. Schadt also complained about the firm's billing practices, which they felt were designed to fleece clients. They reported receiving inflated bills and having difficulty understanding the progress of their case.
Another reviewer, Jordan Luce, also gave the firm a 1-star rating and described their experience as "disappointing" and "arduous." Luce hired the firm to represent them in a housing purchase, but they felt that the firm failed to provide proper updates and communication. The firm's team was unable to answer Luce's questions and instead deflected the issues, leading to a delayed closing. Luce also reported discovering errors in the deed, which the firm failed to catch.
V. Stateton, another reviewer, gave the firm a 1-star rating and described their experience as "unprofessional." Stateton reported that their office had difficulty getting in touch with the firm and that when they finally did, they were met with rudeness and aggression.
Conflicting Positive Experiences
However, not all reviewers have had negative experiences with the firm. Don Mochrie Jr gave the firm a 5-star rating and described them as "giving 110% and more" and being "afraid of getting the truth and justice for you."
Matthew Roman and Anthony Carlo also gave the firm 5-star ratings and described their experiences as positive. Roman praised Julie, the attorney he worked with, as "great to work with" and "clear and up front." Carlo described Julie as "the best attorney in the area" who "helped out so much."
