Our Attorneys

David Solheim and Gatsby Gottsch are the driving forces behind Solheim Law Firm LLC. Both David and Gatsby were raised in Nebraska families with strong ties to agriculture and small business. They learned the value of hard work, honesty, and fairness from a young age, and these values have shaped their approach to practicing law.

David grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska, and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in economics. He went on to attend the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Nebraska Law Review. After law school, David worked as a deputy county attorney in Washington County and later as the county attorney in Hancock County, Iowa. He is also a proud member of the U.S. Army Reserve, serving as a Judge Advocate General (JAG).

Gatsby was born in Elkhorn, Nebraska, and graduated from Elkhorn High School. She studied finance at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin before returning to Nebraska to work for Rural Media Group, Inc., a family-owned media company. Gatsby later attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, and worked as general counsel for Rural Media Group, Inc. after graduating.
