Weiss & Field, a family, business, and criminal law firm founded in 2000, is dedicated to serving clients with honesty, integrity, and a passion for fairness, equality, and justice. Our mission is to provide innovative legal solutions, excellent representation, and quality customer service to all our clients.

Our History

In 1998, Dan M. Weiss established a law firm to serve the citizens of Lucas, Wood, Fulton, and Ottawa Counties, and Northwest Ohio. Two years later, in 2000, Peter F. Field joined Dan M. Weiss to create Weiss & Field. Since then, Weiss & Field has continued to serve everyday legal needs in a friendly and supportive environment.

In 2004, Weiss & Field purchased and renovated 105 Louisiana Avenue in historic downtown Perrysburg, which is now our current office location. Throughout our years of service, we have been dedicated to our clients and the local community, providing legal services that cater to their unique needs.

Our Partners

Our partners, Dan M. Weiss and Peter F. Field, are both experienced and dedicated professionals who have a deep understanding of the law and a commitment to their clients. They have been selected by the Lucas County Juvenile Court to represent parties in Dependency, Neglect, and Abuse cases filed by Lucas County Children Services Board and are co-authors of the Eviction Handbook.

Dan M. Weiss, who graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law, has worked as a criminal justice and paralegal instructor at the University of Toledo and served as a law clerk and associate at Albrechta and Coble Law Firm. He has also worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for The Upjohn Company and has been admitted to the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Peter F. Field, who also graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law, has worked as an executive assistant at the Toledo Municipal Clerk of Court and as an electrical engineer in control systems design and implementation. He has been admitted to the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
