Our History

Our journey began in 2006 when John C. Hopewell, III relocated his law practice to Zachary from Baton Rouge, where he had practiced since 1991. With a long history of dedication to providing legal services with professionalism and care, we have expanded our services to cater to the needs of individuals and businesses throughout Zachary, Central, Baker, and the Felicianas. John's dedication to his craft has earned him the appointment as the Zachary City Attorney in 2011, a position he still holds today. As the City Attorney, John is responsible for serving as the chief legal officer for the City of Zachary, providing advice on matters related to open meetings, public records, and general municipal legal concerns.
