At The Bennington Law Firm, Inc., we are dedicated to providing your family with the three most important principles required in effective legal representation: Professionalism, Integrity, and Compassion. We understand that every family is unique, and we believe that no two families are alike. Our signature approach is to customize a plan for each client based on their unique circumstances and family situation.
We collaborate with our clients to determine what their goals are and how best to achieve those goals, always making the best interests of their children the primary consideration. Our philosophy is centered on understanding who you are, where you've been, and most importantly, where you want to go. We will assess your current situation and explain your rights and obligations and those of the other party. Then, we will work with you to decide on a course of action that fits the unique needs of you and your family.
Our dedicated team of family and divorce lawyers and support staff are here to help. We are a small firm by design as this allows us to be selective as to the cases we accept and then provide outstanding personal service on each and every case. We get to know and care about each of our clients as individuals, not just cases. Our representation of you begins with understanding who you are, where you've been, and most importantly, where you want to go.
Our Services
We are dedicated to helping families navigate the complex web of family law. We know that family law cases can be among the most emotional, contentious, and important legal matters. We represent families in the following legal matters:
- Divorce: Going through a divorce is one of the most difficult things you can do in life. We can guide you through this challenging time and help you take steps to protect your legal interests and achieve your goals concerning your children and financial issues.
- Child Custody and Visitation: We deliver sound legal advice while attempting to de-escalate contentious, emotional situations. Who will have custody of the children is one of the most emotionally charged decisions to make in a divorce. In Arkansas, either the parents have shared custody, also called true joint custody, which is when the children spend approximately equal time with each parent, or one parent has sole custody, also known as primary physical custody, which is when the children spend more time with one parent than the other.
- Civil Litigation: We provide expert legal advice and representation in all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-litigation negotiations and settlements to trials and appeals.
- Estate Planning: We offer comprehensive estate planning services designed to protect your assets and ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death. Our services include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents that are essential for ensuring that your estate is distributed according to your wishes.
- Attorney ad litem: We provide expert legal advice and representation for clients who need an attorney to advocate for their interests in legal proceedings.
