Who We Are

Led by State's Attorney Alison M. Healey, our office is comprised of passionate and skilled professionals with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in criminal law. We are committed to upholding the law, ensuring fair play, and holding offenders accountable for their actions.

1. Felony Division

• Handles the most serious crimes, including murder, robbery, drug distribution, and violent offenses.
• Works in partnership with law enforcement to investigate and gather evidence.
• Present cases before the Grand Jury to obtain indictments.

2. Juvenile Division

• Focuses on prosecuting juvenile offenders who have committed violations of Maryland law.
• Employs a trauma-informed approach to address the specific needs of young defendants.

3. Family Justice Center

• Provides comprehensive services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Offers support, guidance, and resources to empower survivors and hold offenders accountable.

4. Misdemeanor Division

• Handles all misdemeanor offenses, including traffic violations and petty theft.
• Strives to resolve cases efficiently and fairly while ensuring accountability.
