Our Focus on Winning

Our focus is on winning, and winning efficiently, not generating fees by using armies of lawyers. We believe that our clients deserve a boutique firm that is not beholden to financial institutions and large institutional clients. Our lawyers have started their careers at larger firms and know the consequences of being big: inevitable conflicts, inefficiencies, and billable hour "requirements" that drive a wedge between lawyers and clients.

Our Model

Our model is different. While we work on the traditional hourly model, our preference is to work with clients on creative structures based on shared risk and value. We regularly work with our clients on hybrid fees, contingency fees, and success fees to align our economic interests with those of our clients.

• Gerald M. Gordon: Gerald is a founding partner of the firm's Business Restructuring & Bankruptcy Department.
• Joseph Kozlowski: Joe is a founding partner in the firm's Corporate, Real Estate, Finance and Banking, and Construction Practice Groups.
• Talitha Gray Kozlowski: Since 2004, Talitha has almost exclusively represented clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings.
• Mary Langsner: Mary is an attorney in the firm's Business Restructuring & Bankruptcy Department, focusing on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy litigation.
• Christine Murphy: Ms. Murphy leads the firm's Corporate & Real Estate Department, specializing in real estate finance and loan restructurings.
