Our History
Our firm was founded by R. Scott Elmore and Wynne du M. Caffey-Knight, both graduates of the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1991. Twenty years later, they joined with Bob Stone to form Elmore, Stone & Caffey, PLLC. We are proud of our legacy and the impact we have made in the Knoxville community. Our founders have been recognized for their excellence by various legal directories, including U.S. News & World Report, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Martindale Hubbell.

Scott Elmore is the managing member of the firm and has over thirty years of experience in general business and transactional practice. He has extensive experience in banking law, commercial real estate, and corporate law. Wynne du M. Caffey-Knight is also a seasoned attorney with a strong background in business and transactional law.
